During his presentation, he shared invaluable insights into the daily realities of local policing. From responding to welfare checks and domestic issues to managing incidents at our local roundabouts—which he noted have successfully reduced traffic fatalities—his deep understanding of our town is a tremendous asset. We also took a moment to recognize his recent heroism, alongside fellow officers, in safely rescuing stranded motorists swept away during the severe Hassayampa flood.
Driven by a shared commitment to service, we discussed critical areas where our club and community members can provide support. Lieutenant Lutkiewicz highlighted the need for volunteers in the Civilian Patrol and emphasized a significant community need for a dedicated victim advocacy system. These are meaningful opportunities for us to step up and provide reliable care for our neighbors in times of crisis.
Looking ahead, please join us next week as we welcome the Wickenburg Saddle Club Royalty. Three outstanding local young people will share their experiences, responsibilities, and activities within the Saddle Club.
